Teri of Imaginative Intentions is a 24 year old polymer clay artist, who makes Polymer Clay Photo Pendants. In the beginning, Teri searched online for a way to make something out of her photography (rather than just hanging it on the wall). After a bit of searching, she found quite a few tutorials on polymer clay transfers. After a few hits and misses, using a variety of transfer materials, Teri went in search of a paper that could be baked into the clay (and that could handle the heat of the oven). After a while, she came across a special type of paper that could handle the heat of the oven and would mimic an actual photograph. She's been creating her pendants this way ever since.

Polymer Clay is often referred to as the "new clay" because its development in the early 20th century is considered relatively modern. European crafters began using these clays for sculpting heads, hands and feet for otherwise fabric dolls. These clays are now extremely versatile and are available in a variety of blendable colors and textures. Polymer clay can also generously accept a variety of inclusions such as sand or foil.
